I have more IUD removal questions.

Since I got my IUD (previously on the pill) my ovulation signs were quite obvious, and I had copious amounts of fertile quality cm for several days nearing ovulation. I had read that the IUD could possibly increase cm due to irritation, but I'm not sure how true this is or if it is just hearsay.

Anyway, I had my IUD removed on Friday, CD 12, when I would normally be gearing up for ovulation around CD 14 or 15. Friday my cm seemed like it was starting to get fertile quality. After I had it taken out, I had some bleeding, more than spotting but not heavy, which slowed by the end of the day and was completely done by yesterday. Since removal, I haven't had a lot of cm.

Is it possible that all that great fertile cm was just due to the IUD and I don't have as much as I thought?

Or could removal have been stressful enough to my body (even though the procedure was really quick, easy, painless) to delay ovulation?

I haven't been charting with temps yet because we aren't trying yet. I've been charting with cm alone this cycle and the last one.
