Hi there,
I'm back from a week away, without a computer (didn't expect that actually!) and am catching up on some posts.
First off...no...I am not expecting. I was pretty disappointed when the shark attack arrived, earlier than usual, so at least the wait was shorter to find out. =0( I am preventing big time this month to avoid 2 of the same Dec. birthdays...we'll see about next month. Not sure yet.
Strwberry...was dying to find a way on here to check in on you...sorry that it wasn't an easier week for you. How are you doing?
To all the others making the decision to leave the 3-kid fence, I will likely join you in the next few months. Keep your heads high and enjoy those kiddos you have!
To those suffering losses...my heart breaks for you and I'm sending virtual hugs.
To the rest of you all still marching along either TTC, deciding, or enjoying your 3 or more...HI AGAIN!
Glad to be back home. =0)

Hey there!
Glad you had a nice trip but sorry about AF coming.
I've been having some reservations about the whole 3 thing lately! I have an IUD but my H said he could feel it a few weeks ago, so I made up this whole fantasy that it had come dislodged and we got pg (lol at me). Anyway, my first feeling was PANIC - mostly financially. I even made up this whole emergency budget cutting every last thing. :-( I am weird like that. Anyway, got AF so that is not happening but it has started me thinking that maybe it is irresponsible to try for 3 if it will make things that tight. Life is so busy already and I love being able to give my 2 girls the extras that make life fun. I don't want to have to consider every purchase. I'm thinking that unless we get some sort of financial windfall or something, we may just stick with the 2 we have.

I did ask to go full-time at work :-( It isn't that much extra time and the extra money and paid time off (and BENEFITS!) would be awesome to have. That might even make me more comfortable with the 3 idea again. They said they will consider it, its a lot of logistics to make a part-time position full-time so we'll see what happens. It will be okay either way...

So anyway, probably more info than you wanted! Sorry!

Good luck next time you try!

2 princesses...I'm in a similar place right now...thinking I should stop again and move on...though the fact that my 2 have been sick again, we just got back from a 16 hour ride in the car with the whole family last week "vacation" seeing in-laws, and that Dh had surgery on his wrist yesterday so I'm caring for 2 small kids and one really big kid...may have some bearing on that! I'm ready to run for the hills! LOL
As Dh is out of the "loop" this month anyway I'm trying to not even think about it too much. The kicker is, I have to go to the doc, because I think it's possible, just as we decided to go for #3, that I may be hitting perimeno early or possibly dealing with endometriosis! Maybe it's a sign to just quit while I'm ahead???

Went to the doc. He was useless. All mainstream medicine ever wants to offer me is birth control pills (I won't take them, they give me chest pain and make me crazy (crazier??)) which he rolled his eyes at... and when I said I might want to get preg, he offered me clomid, and laughed saying there's only an 8% chance of twins...and with my age, probably more like 10% above average...and laughed again. Gee, thanks. No, don't want clomid...want to know what's going on with my body and why I am in "labor" every month now...wouldn't do any hormone levels, etc. saying I was "too young and it wouldn't tell us anything".
Oh well...we're going to just let whatever happens happen...not trying, not preventing (which means less than 1% chance with our schedule!) and close up shop for good after July (which would = baby on Dh's 40th b'day).
Thanks for thinking of me and asking!

That's a real bummer about the killer cramps :(
Only an 8% chance of twins with clomid? I think he was fibbing! It seems more like an 98% chance from things I've read lol.
Good luck with not preventing but not trying *fingers and toes are crossed for you* :)
