*Babypink* thank you for keeping updating - as I am expecting DC3 I am really appreciating the insights. So glad to hear you have had a better week. The first few weeks can be so hard and I always found expressing a nightmare, my mantra throughout DCs earlier years was "its only a phase, it will end soon"! Take care.

Week 7- Word of the week - BREATHE!

well life with three really has gone from busy to Hectic. Going to the shops or a big day outing has become so much harder. We have seen an improvement in sleep with bub though. She is now sleeping 4-5 hour stretches which means if I feed at 10pm I am only getting up once in the night, The nights my husband is away for work has been tough though with the bedtime routine with 3 kids and then getting up through the night. But sometimes my husband has been kind enough when he is home to do these feeds which means I have slept through the whole night sometimes. this is great because I then have more energy to play with the kids the next day. and on these days I am really Loving having 3 kids!!! Its so much fun.
I have felt so busy this week I sometimes forget to eat, and have to remind myself to stop and just breathe!
Also My son 20mths who has always been a good sleeper is suddenly not sleeping well lately. he tosses and turns throughout the night. He is in a cot but is a bigger boy who should probaly move into a bed soon. However he is just not mature enough and his room is at the other side of the house. I did want to keep him in his cot until he was 2.5 to avoid more sleepless nights but not sure if its going to be possible. My daughter 4.5 thankfully sleeps all through the night, unless she is sick.

I am really hoping that I get to look forward to good sleep soon and that sleepless nights are not going to be forever. It gets better right?
